UPDATE: The Ritz Ybor Cancels Homophobe

I'm so very pleased to announce that Buju Banton
Rasta Got Soul Tour will not be performing at The Ritz Ybor.
A source at The Ritz Ybor has confirmed
that Buju Banton's concert is "OFFICIALLY CANCELED". The voice
of hate and promoting killing gay men has been silenced in yet another
city. I couldn't be more proud that Tampa will be added to the list of
cities that the Buju Banton is not welcome.
My sincere and heartfelt thanks and appreciation
goes to our friends at The Ritz Ybor. As well as to each and everyone of you who
spoke out against hate, your voices were heard.
This is a big win for Tampa, however, we must
continue our fight to keep the Buju Banton Rasta Got Soul Tour out of Florida.
Let us continue to contact the other promoters in Jacksonville, Miami and
Orlando. I've been in contact with the Hard Rock, they refuse to listen to
voice of reason against hate or even consider canceling their concert. Let them
know this is unacceptable to you.
